Angelica Maria Vale Hartman (also known professionally as Angelica Vale) is a Mexican American performer, actress, singer also known as a comedian, host of a radio show and a comic. She was born in Mexico City and was raised by the comedian Raul Vale. The singer is believed to have launched La Balada Ranchera, a popular genre of music that hit the charts in 1973. The genre led Angelica Maria to become the first Latin artist to sell two millions of albums within the United States. She became acquainted with Venezuelan comedian/singer Raul Vale in 1974. They were married on April 25, 1975. This was the first marriage to be broadcast in Mexico. Angelica Vale was born on November 11, 1975, in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico.
